In partnership with Tetra Pak, Krona Foundation purchased patient monitors and ventilator compressors for hospitals in Chernivtsi region and Kyiv city.

As a response to global crisis caused by pandemic, Tetra Laval Group has donated € 10 million to support health care systems across the countries they operate in. Krona Foundation became Ukrainian partner of the project.

Tetra Laval Group has granted UAH 550,000 to purchase equipment for hospitals in Ukrainian regions with the highest number of COVID-19 cases. Bionet patient bedside monitors have a wide range of functions and can be used in a variety of settings, from ambulance to intensive care unit. The device makes an electrocardiogram, measures the patient’s body temperature, blood pressure, CO2 and oxygen in the blood and more.

Compressors are to supply air to the anaesthetic breathing systems and ventilators. Their function is to additionally purify air for the patient.

Since March 2020, Krona Charitable Foundation and its corporate partners provided 42 Ukrainian hospitals with medical equipment and personal protective equipment with a total cost of UAH 15,000,000.
