Within this program, the grant program was implemented in 30 cities and towns. Krona foundation awarded 43 grants to NGOs and social institutions for creating an accessible environment, implementing social, corrective-pedagogical, psychological, and rehabilitation services for children and their families.
We also help children, and during wartime, adults in restoring physical functions after severe treatment or mine-explosive injuries by purchasing orthopedic and rehabilitation aids, equipment, and helping to pay for rehabilitation courses.
Our foundation helped install a special mini-elevator for children who cannot move independently at Kreminska Special Boarding School in the Luhansk region. This school houses and educates 72 children with severe musculoskeletal disorders, cerebral palsy, and polio symptoms. We implemented this project with the support of the Bedstock Music Festival held on #GivingTuesday.
Thanks to the charitable flea market ‘Kurazh Bazar’ and the Ukrainian Philanthropic Marketplace, we retrofitted a special minibus for transporting passengers in electric wheelchairs.
The ‘Gift an Hour’ project allows everyone to support families raising children with special needs through their professional services and skills. People can donate not only money but also time.
We have equipped the central district hospital in Blyznyuky, and the outpatient clinics in Samiylivka and Velyka Samara in the Kharkiv region, with ramps, automatic platforms, inclusive restrooms, and passages according to accessibility standards for people with disabilities.
