Targeted assistance

We help children with serious illnesses and their relatives to pay for medicines, consumables, diagnostics, rehabilitation aids, and treatment abroad when there is no opportunity to get medical care in Ukraine.

This program allows us to instantly react on children’s needs in medical care, especially in case of oncological, cardiovascular or rare immune diseases.

Every year about 25 children get targeted assistance from Krona Foundation. We also help to cover costs for treatment abroad when there is no opportunity to get medical care in Ukraine at public expense.

How it works

When receiving the application, we carefully check out the case. That means studying the documents, and evaluating the possibility of getting free medical care in Ukraine.

We may request medical appointments from parents (patients) or documents that confirm the results of their addressing to the State institutions – ones that regard free medicines, operations, and rehabilitation vouchers in accordance with guarantees of the State.

If the decision of Foundation’s Board is positive, we enter into an agreement with a family and start a public fundraising project.

100% of funding we get from philanthropists is spent on treatment.
