Aid to Hospitals

We help Ukrainian hospitals to both introduce new technologies and improve the quality of medical care for children and adults

We provide medical institutions with equipment and supplies to impruve the quality of medical care and ensure access for various groups of patients

Owing to our assistance many new effective methods of diagnostics/treatment were introduced in Ukraine suggesting a life-saving difference, among them are: set up of all-Ukrainian Reference laboratory for diagnostics of blood cancer diseases and bone marrow donors; testing and matching solid organ donors; haploidentical transplantation; setting blood center at Okhmatdyt; launching a special  intensive care unit in The Institute of  Amosova where women with  cardiovascular disease in pregnancy  and in delivery can receive a highly  competent assistance of a multidisciplinary team of doctors; endoscopic interventions, modern hi-end technologies in neurosurgery and otolaryngology, histological examinations for children

The major focus of Krona’s activity under war times is  assistance to medical volunteers and hospitals that treat those wounded.

Krona provided transferred more than 1200 pieces of equipment, consumables, and medicines to national and regional health care institutions (bronchoscopes, freezers for blood storage, patient monitors, aspirators, anesthetics and hemostatics, generators and sterilizers, mobile racks and infusion pumps, water distillers, trundle beds, concentrators, surgical threads, VAC-pumps for wound treatment, surgical coagulators, functional beds, surgical drill, aspirators, apparatus for heating blood, pulse oximeters, crash carts, tactical first-aid kits (tourniquets, decompression needles, abdominal bandages, splints, restraints, hemostatic bandages and plasters, rescue blankets, scissors, etc.) and two ambulances

98 hospitals received equipment, medical goods, renovations and professional development

130.2 million UAH were spent on hospitals’ development
