On September 3rd of this year, Russian occupation forces dropped a guided aerial bomb in the center of Sumy. As a result of the strike, buildings of the higher education institution were destroyed. As a result of that shelling, 35 people lost their lives.
Immediately after the attack, many individuals and companies expressed their willingness to help clear the debris and restore the university building.
Our foundation, together with our partners from EPAM Systems LLC, allocated 1 million hryvnias for the renovation of the institution.
The majority of the territory has been cleared of debris and waste. In the administrative and academic buildings, 24 windows have already been replaced. Repair work is ongoing
