The #StandWithUkraine by GG.BET & Krona charity initiative will be running alongside the PGL Major Antwerp 2022 tournament. From May 16 to 22, esports betting company GG.BET will be teaming up with the All-Ukrainian Charitable Foundation “Krona” to raise €24,500 to buy medical equipment for a children’s hospital in Zaporizhzhia.
Zaporizhzhia Regional Clinical Children’s Hospital is located in southern Ukraine. Injured adults and children from southern and eastern regions of Ukraine that have come under fire from the Russian army, such as Mariupol, Vasylivka, Popasna, Maryinka and dozens of other Ukrainian towns and cities, are brought here
From May 16, you will be able to donate money online, and from May 19-22, visitors of the Major will be able to make donations at the Antwerps Sportpaleis arena, in a special GG.BET #StandWithUkraine zon

With the money collected, the organizers plan to buy four vacuum aspirators and four patient monitors. Aspirators are used to remove excess liquid from wounds, airways, and spaces between organs, to reduce the risk of infection and help injuries to heal more easily. Monitors track patients’ vital signs during and after operations.

With the equipment we buy, the doctors will be able to perform effective, safe surgery to increase their patients’ chances of survival
