During the meeting, the hospital’s leadership together with the All‑Ukrainian Charitable Foundation Krona presented the results of projects supported by Mécénat Servier and shared future plans for the country’s leading children’s hospital.
Director of Mécénat Servier Patrick Terrasse, along with representatives of the French foundation Barbara Friche and Benjamin Abdili, visited the pathology and immunohistochemistry laboratory, where immunohistochemical studies of pediatric tumors have been introduced using a high‑resolution scanner.
This advanced equipment now enables doctors to quickly and accurately determine not only the presence of pathology but also the specific characteristics of altered tissues. When needed, specialists can connect with colleagues abroad and conduct teleconsultations. The data obtained allow physicians to select treatment with greater precision and in a less traumatic way for children
