The Krona Foundation is establishing a new rehabilitation department in the settlement of Voronovytsia, Vinnytsia region. The Voronovytsia community is home to more than 16,000 residents, including hundreds of veterans, internally displaced persons, people with disabilities, and elderly citizens. Despite the presence of medical and social centers, the community has not previously had access to outpatient rehabilitation services.
With financial support from UNDP in Ukraine, we are creating an inclusive space of resilience and recovery. This modern facility will be accessible to all community members in need of rehabilitation.
The project includes:
- Development of accessible infrastructure
- Establishment of a rehabilitation hall and an occupational therapy room
- Procurement of essential equipment for physical and psychological rehabilitation
- Training of a multidisciplinary team of specialists to provide rehabilitation services.
Active local residents are contributing to the planning and arrangement of the space, demonstrating community solidarity and mutual support.
The opening of the center is scheduled for February next year. Everyone will be welcome to attend the Open Day, meet the team, and learn more about new opportunities for the community.
The project is implemented with the support of UNDP within the framework of “Inclusive Recovery Support for Resilience and Human Security in Ukraine””
