“Krona” Foundation, in partnership with EPAM Ukraine, provided financial assistance to conduct sessions for 15 defenders using ipoventia. This method of psychological rehabilitation and correction is based on nonverbal, tactile contact with a horse, which has a positive impact on a person’s psycho-emotional state.
The project “Horses of Victory” was initiated by the Kharkiv NGO “KHarobrist”. Several times a week, project participants visit the “Ray” stable in the village of Korotych, where they calmly interact with horses and help care for them.
For “Krona”, this topic is especially meaningful. From the very beginning of its work, the Foundation supported hippotherapy in Crimea and Ternopil region for the rehabilitation of children with disabilities. We witnessed how communication with horses helps children restore both physical and psychological well-being, strengthens self-confidence, and brings back the joy of life.
That is why, when we learned about the “Horses of Victory” project, we knew it was worth supporting.
For the third year, Krona Foundation has been supporting psychological and physical rehabilitation programs for veterans — including adaptive sports, hippotherapy, training, and the purchase of assistive devices. The Foundation has also equipped three rehabilitation and occupational therapy departments. Altogether, this support amounts to UAH 3.16 million.
