Krona Foundation and Playrix has set up an inclusive sports and rehabilitation playground on the grounds of a major Kyiv hospital.

Just before Christmas, a new inclusive sports area was opened at the National Scientific Center for Radiation Medicine.

This gift for patients and doctors became possible thanks to the charitable sports initiative of “Hit Games Company.” In autumn, the company’s employees organized an activity marathon. Entire families ran, walked, swam, and counted kilometers on bicycles to raise funds for the project. The company “converted” those kilometers into money, which was donated to our foundation to create an adaptive sports playground accessible to both children and adults, including those using wheelchairs.

The space features ten exercise machines and developmental rehabilitation structures, a sensory path, a relaxation swing, and benches for rest. It is not just equipment — it is a place where children and adult patients can regain strength and confidence in their own abilities.

The playground is open not only to patients but also to students of the neighboring inclusive lyceum. The hospital administration has planned “health days” for the lyceum’s students and staff.
